FINANCIALLY MOTIVATEDSEXTORTION
Financially motivated sextortion (FMS) happens when a predator tricks or forces someone to send private, explicit photos or videos. The criminal then threatens to send these images to the victim's family, friends, or school unless the victim pays them money.
SEXUALLY MOTIVATEDSEXTORTION
Sexually motivated sextortion is when an offender threatens a child to get more sexual images. He builds trust over time, then uses threats to force a child to send sexually explicit images of themselves and keeps demanding more.
SADISTICALLYMOTIVATED SEXTORTION
Sadistically motivated sextortion is driven by violence and cruelty. The predator behind it wants to see a child suffer. Far too many parents only find out after their child has already been hurt.
