The Petrich Family Story: Part 2
In January, we shared with you the story of the Petrich Family, a couple from Virginia who have adopted not one, not two, but three girls from Ukraine in the last few years. A part of their story was left out that time...not because we wanted to, but because we knew the only way to do it justice was to share it in full, later on.
To say the odds were stacked against Kurt & Cyndi as they traveled to pick up their girls is understatement. Their departure date was moved forward by weeks, and impacted critical steps like paperwork and finances. International borders continued to close by the day due to the ongoing spread of COVID-19. And neither of them spoke Ukrainian.
