Six months ago, we shared with you a letter written by a young girl who was sexually exploited by her own family for many years. But when Elly was rescued and brought to Compassionate Hope, she began to travel down a different road, one paved with healing in the now and hope for the future. Today, we share with you more of Elly’s story, much of it through her own poetry and art. For her protection, we can not show you her face. But you can hear her transformation as she reads her own words at both the beginning and the end.
