W15H Reunites Tim Tebow with Kelly Faughnan

For many years Kelly Faughnan had one desire…meeting Tim Tebow. It was back in 2009 when finally her dream came true. Knowing that Tebow would be at the 2009 ESPNU College Football Awards in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, Faughnan with her family in tow, traveled down from Virginia for the opportunity to get a glimpse of the person she thought was “amazing.” Following an introduction to Tebow at a party held the night before, Faughnan was overwhelmed with excitement and joy as Tebow personally asked her to be his date to the award ceremony. Together they walked the red carpet and posed for pictures, ending the night as friends.
For Faughnan, her experience in 2009 was an “honor and a dream come true.” She has hoped for the opportunity to once again meet Tebow, who on that magical night made her feel so special. Thanks to the Tim Tebow Foundation’s Wish 15 (W15H) program, in partnership with Dreams Come True of Jacksonville, Faughnan and Tebow will be reunited at Sports Authority Field at Mile High this Sunday before the Denver Broncos take on the New England Patriots.
Faughnan will stand side by side with Tebow during the pregame warm-ups and then enjoy the remainder of the game in terrific seats set up by the Denver Broncos. She will not leave Denver empty handed, as W15H will provide her with a gift package that includes: exclusive W15H travel luggage; Tebow’s book, Through My Eyes; Nike duffle bag; Jockey gift card and so much more.
Since being diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2008, it has been a tough battle for Faughnan. She continues to keep her spirits high and stay positive about her future. The opportunity to reunite with the person who she has admired for several years is another chance for her to create unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime and help her through her journey.
