Tyler Taschner, an eighteen-year-old South Dakota native, has endured many challenges since November 2011 when, during extreme wind conditions, a falling tree paralyzed him from the waist down.

Tyler’s spine was snapped and his spinal cord stretched. His injuries included eight broken ribs and a partially collapsed lung. At the time of his injury, Tyler was paralyzed and received intensive therapy sessions as a result. Since the incident, Tyler has made amazing progress and is in college, determined to continue overcoming the obstacles before him.

A former All-American Athlete, it has been a dream of Tyler’s to meet New York Jets quarterback Tim Tebow. Through the Tim Tebow Foundation’s W15H (Wish 15) program, in partnership with Dreams Come True of Jacksonville, Tyler will have his dream come true as he travels to MetLife Stadium and spends time with Tebow during pre-game warm-ups and immediately following the New York Jets vs. Indianapolis Colts game.

Tyler will return to South Dakota with a W15H gift package that includes exclusive W15H luggage, a Nike duffle bag, gift cards for both Nike and Jockey, Tim Tebow’s book, Through My Eyes, a Florida Gators 2008 National Championship book, a personalized Bible and much more.

During his W15H experience, Tyler will create memories that he can cherish for a lifetime.
