W15H: Grayson’s Dream Come True

Meet Grayson! Grayson is a funny and silly young man but being around him is also uplifting. We first connected with Grayson in 2019, shortly after he was diagnosed with bone cancer and was undergoing treatment. Even as he went through a challenging season in life, Grayson kept his head up high, and always looked forward to the day that he finally beat cancer.

In December 2021, we were honored to grant Grayson’s W15H to meet with Tim! He and his mom, Dawn, arrived at their hotel via limo, and spent the rest of the day relaxing and resting up for a full day ahead. On Friday, Grayson enjoyed activities planned just for him, including a behind-the-scenes tour at the Georgia Aquarium and a dolphin encounter. Later that day, he went on a driving tour around Atlanta and had a private dinner with Tim. At dinner, Tim and Grayson talked about sports, sampled steaks, and had a dessert board! The night was filled with laughter and joy!

“The weekend made me feel special in a lot of ways. It made me feel like a celebrity riding in a limo, getting to stay in a beautiful hotel room, and spending time with Tim Tebow. Also, attending the SEC Championship Game was awesome!” – Grayson.

Grayson got to go behind the scenes at SEC Nation on Saturday, and met former University of Florida Coach, Dan Mullen. He also attended one of the most anticipated college football games of the year between the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Georgia Bulldogs. Our mission to make Grayson feel extra special for a weekend was a huge success!

“During my son’s cancer battle, we used to talk about things we wanted to do after he beat it. On that list was getting to meet Tim Tebow. Thank you, W15H Ministry, for making one of my warrior’s dreams come true! I haven’t seen Grayson smile that much or laugh that hard in a very long time.” –Dawn

Today, we are excited to let you know that Grayson is cancer-free! We are incredibly inspired by his grit and perseverance as he pressed onward with great faith. It was our honor to grant him a W15H weekend to celebrate his victory against cancer.
