Team Tebow Service day is just around the corner… The 2nd Annual TEAM TEBOW SERVICE DAY is only 10 days away! On Saturday, July 22, 2017 we are calling for all 22,000+ Team Tebow members and their families and friends to go out in their communities and serve!
Many of you may want to get involved but are apprehensive because you’re not sure how. Keep reading to see what one special volunteer did last year and to learn about more ideas for how you can serve and create brighter days with us!
Kierstyn, one of our Team Tebow members, spent the entire TEAM TEBOW SERVICE DAY serving others. One of the service projects she planned involved spending time with refugee children from all over the world. Kierstyn and her sisters, Natalie and Bethany, spent the morning playing games with the children, creating art projects using sidewalk chalk, and even reading Bible stories to them. Look at all the smiling faces in the picture below! Their service embodies the Tim Tebow Foundation’s mission to bring Faith, Hope, and Love to those needing a brighter day in their darkest hour of need.
You might hear this idea and think to yourself, “There is no way I can do something like that. How do I even start?” We are here to encourage you to do what you can. It’s not about what you do, what matters is that you do something. Service is about going out of your way to help others.
Your service could be something simple like volunteering at a soup kitchen or something more involved like making encouraging cards to deliver to people in the hospital or at your local senior center. You could even get a team together and mow the lawn and plant flowers for a family in your community going through a difficult time. The possibilities are endless!
