Next month will mark the fourth anniversary of Night to Shine, the unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love, for people with special needs, ages 14 and older, sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation. In just four years, Night to Shine has truly become a worldwide movement and this year, more than 175,000 volunteers in more than 540 churches around the world will serve more than 90,000 honored guests simultaneously on one night, Friday, February 9, 2018. The 540 host churches represent all 50 states, 16 countries and now 33 different denominations and celebrate more than 1,000% growth from year one.

“I am so thankful for each and every host church, volunteer, donor and sponsor for answering the call and joining this worldwide movement,” shared Tim Tebow, Founder & Chairman of the Tim Tebow Foundation. “To think that 90,000 people with special needs will be cheered for, celebrated and loved on one night around the world is just amazing. When Night to Shine started just four years ago, even with our big vision we could never have imagined that it would become the worldwide movement that it is today. But we serve a big God and He has truly blessed this ministry,” said Tebow.

To help ensure the foundation’s ability to continue this exponential growth, TTF is thrilled to announce that for a second year, American Residential Services (ARS/Rescue Rooter) has committed as Night to Shine’s Global Partner. In the second year of a three-year agreement, ARS’s support has made Night to Shine possible for thousands of people with special needs and will help with the foundation’s goal of making sure that every person with special needs knows that they are celebrated, valued and loved. In addition to their financial support, hundreds of ARS employees across the nation will be serving as volunteers at various Night to Shine host churches.

“ARS is passionate about giving back to the community, and we are honored to be the Global Partner for this universal effort,” said Dave Slott, Co-CEO of ARS/Rescue Rooter. “We cherish our longstanding partnership with Tim and the Tim Tebow Foundation, and our employees across the country look forward to volunteering at Night to Shine.”

Every guest of Night to Shine enters this complimentary event on a red carpet complete with a warm welcome from a friendly crowd and paparazzi. Once inside, guests receive the royal treatment, including hair and makeup stations, shoe shining areas, limousine rides, corsages and boutonnieres, a catered dinner, karaoke, prom favors for each honored guest and, of course, a dance floor… all leading up to the moment when each guest is crowned king or queen of the prom.

“Night to Shine is more than the limo rides, the red carpets, the fancy dresses, and the shiny shoes. It’s special because our guests realize, some for the first time, that they’re worth it. They are told they’re special and that they’re loved,” shared Tim Tebow, Founder & Chairman of the Tim Tebow Foundation. “And at the end of the night, when each and every one of them is crowned king or queen of the prom, they go home knowing that God loves them and has a special, unique, and purposeful plan for their life.”

As sponsor of Night to Shine, the Tim Tebow Foundation provides each host church with the official 2018 Night to Shine Planning Manual, the official Night to Shine Prom Kit, complete with decorations and gifts for the guests, and personalized guidance and support from a Tim Tebow Foundation staff member. The foundation also is providing financial support to hundreds of churches needing assistance in hosting the event, and this year alone will contribute more than $3.5 million in financial grants.
