Meet the 200th Adoption Aid Grant Recipient: Maria

TTF’s Adoption Aid program, part of our Orphan Care + Prevention outreach, provides assistance to families who are making the courageous choice to adopt children with special needs from all over the world. In August 2021, we were excited to welcome the McCune Family as the 200th Adoption Aid grant recipient.
Through TTF’s partnership with Show Hope, a partner ministry focused on orphan care and adoption aid, the McCune family welcomed sweet Maria as the new addition to their family. We recently heard from Maria’s parents who brought us the news that Maria is doing great and is thriving at home with her three other siblings–Noah, Abram, and Sophia!
“Our family is really thriving! Maria is growing so much, and she is making so many friends. We just had our first Christmas with her!
She will be turning three in just over a month, which means she will be starting school in order to get all her therapies. We think she will really enjoy it and grow because of it. We would love your prayer for her to like it and handle the change well. She is an amazing little girl, and we are excited for what this can do for her!”
The McCune family is enjoying every moment they have with Maria as they get to know her sweet and funny characteristics. She has been an answer to their prayers and a gift was truly worth the wait.
It is inspiring to see the McCune family pour out their love for Maria all while reflecting God’s heart to care for the fatherless and the orphans. Welcome home, Maria!
