Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Adoption Aid program?
The Adoption Aid program, a part of our Orphan Care Outreach, provides financial assistance to families who are making the courageous choice to adopt a child with special needs.
Why did the Tim Tebow Foundation create the Adoption Aid program?
The Tim Tebow Foundation focuses on five primary outreach initiatives and the Adoption Aid program allows us to combine our passion for caring for orphans and creating a brighter day for children with disabilities.
Why did the Tim Tebow Foundation partner with Show Hope and Lifesong?
The Tim Tebow Foundation looks to form collaborative partnerships with Christian organizations who are leaders in their ministry fields. Show Hope was one of the first organizations to address the global need for Adoption Aid and after 10 years and over 4,000 grants they remain committed to Christ’s call to care for orphans. Lifesong exists to empower the Church to care for orphans in the unique ways that each has been gifted.
What is Show Hope?
Show Hope is a ministry that enables individuals and communities to change the world for orphans by not only addressing a child’s need for food, shelter, care and spiritual nourishment, but by also addressing the root issue for an orphan; the lack of a family. Established in 2003, Steven Curtis Chapman and his wife, Mary Beth initially founded Show Hope out of their desire to see more children find their way into forever families.
How can I become a part of the Adoption Aid program?
There are several ways to be involved in our Adoption Aid program. We ask that first and foremost, you pray for the families, orphans and donors involved in the program. You can also financially support the program by donating. As our friends at Show Hope say, “Not everyone is called to adopt, but we can all make a difference.”
What percentage of my donation goes to the family?
100% of your donation will go directly to our Adoption Aid program through our Orphan Care initiative.
How many Adoption Aid grants are awarded?
With partners Show Hope and Lifesong, the Tim Tebow Foundation is committed to awarding two grants each month to very deserving, Christian families who are adopting children with special needs. With your help we hope to award additional grants each month.
