The New York Jets will play host to the 2012 Super Bowl champion and cross-town rival, New York Giants on Saturday, August 18, at 7 p.m. Thousands are expected to fill the seats at MetLife Stadium, including a very special guest, 16-year-old, Slone Kays.

Over the past year, Slone has been taking numerous medications, undergoing intensive chemotherapy treatments, and has been hospitalized countless times during her battle with brain and spinal cancer. Although this weekend marks the one-year anniversary of her diagnosis, Slone will be experiencing an opportunity of a lifetime when she travels to New Jersey to watch her favorite quarterback, Tim Tebow, in action on the field.

Through the Tim Tebow Foundation’s W15H program, in partnership with Dreams Come True of Jacksonville, Slone’s parents will join her as she spends quality time with Tebow during pre-game warm-ups, and immediately following the game. Slone shared the following statement about her upcoming W15H experience: “This opportunity is such a blessing and I am so excited! Tim and his faith give me inspiration during this hard time. God continues to bless us through Tim.”

Following her weekend, Slone will return to Kansas City with a W15H gift package that includes exclusive W15H luggage, Nike duffle bag, gift cards from both Nike and Jockey, Tim Tebow’s book, Through My Eyes, a Florida Gators 2008 National Championship book, a personalized bible, and more. The W15H experience will help Slone’s dreams become reality.
