Tim Tebow Foundation partners with Dreams Come True to grant wishes for children with life-threatening illnesses

The Tim Tebow Foundation announced today its partnership with Jacksonville’s locally based wish-granting organization, Dreams Come True. This partnership will make Dreams Come True the official wish-granting organization for the Tim Tebow Foundation’s “Wish 15” program (W15H). This program has been created to fulfill the dreams of children with life-threatening illnesses whose wish is to meet Tim Tebow. The W15H program is one of the outreach efforts of the Tim Tebow Foundation in line with its mission of bringing faith, hope and love to those needing a brighter day in their darkest hour of need.
As the official wish-granting organization of the Tim Tebow Foundation, Dreams Come True will handle all logistics and serve as the point of contact for all dreams to meet Tebow. Eligible children will come from Dreams Come True as well as other national wish-granting organizations. Also as part of the partnership, Dreams Come True will utilize space in their office building to highlight the W15H program and the dreams that Tebow has fulfilled.
“I am always humbled and honored that there are children whose wish is to spend time with me,” said Tebow. “I always walk away confident that I am the one who was blessed to be around such strong and courageous children.”
The Tim Tebow Foundation recently did a national search to find the best organization to operate its newly formed W15H program, and at the end of the process they chose Dreams Come True.
“One of the deciding factors was that Dreams Come True directs 100% of all donations to dream fulfillment unless otherwise specified,” said Erik Dellenback, executive director of the Tim Tebow Foundation. “The fact that they are located in Tim’s hometown makes the partnership even more meaningful.”
Through the partnership, the Tim Tebow Foundation is donating money to Dreams Come True which will be allocated specifically for fulfilling dreams for children who desire to be part of the W15H program.
“In the past year, the foundation has worked with wish-granting organizations from around the country, and no one is more professional and cares more for the children they serve than Dreams Come True,” said Dellenback. “We are excited about this partnership and the launch of the W15H program.”
While this will be a year-round program, currently the two organizations are focusing specifically on the upcoming football season. The goal is to have dream children from around the country get to experience a Denver Broncos pregame from the field.
