In this month’s newsletter for the Gathering, there was special coverage on the launch of the Tim Tebow Foundation. The Gathering was founded by Fred Smith and his Board of Directors to serve as an educational resource for Christian major donors and foundations in the United States. Participants in the Gathering come together at teaching events, via Internet exchanges and through vision trips to gain access to information and fresh perspectives on charitable giving. The Gathering is an informal fellowship of individuals, families and foundations who each give away over $200,000 a year to support the cause of Christ around the world.
