On January 30, Tim Tebow played in the Senior Bowl in Mobile, AL under the tutelage of Tony Sparano, the head coach of the Miami Dolphins who was coaching the Southern All Stars. The All Stars from the North were coached by Jim Schwartz of the Detroit Lions.
Tebow dedicated himself to playing in this All Star football game to further prepare himself for the NFL Combine and Draft. In spite of fighting a high fever and viral infection all week, Tim was still able to compete and perform well. A large number of NFL scouts were in attendance checking out his continued improvement as a potential professional quarterback.
