Core Values

Tim With Kids Tim Tebow has been very open about his Christian convictions and as a follower of Jesus has always expressed his gratitude to his Lord and Savior. So, Tim’s faith is certainly the bedrock of his motivation in launching the Foundation. However, he has often expressed a clear desire that anyone who wants to work with him in bringing a brighter day to people in their darkest hour is welcome to partner with the organization, regardless of where they might be on their faith journey.

Tim has consistently expressed his gratitude to God for the blessings and platform he has been given in order to be a blessing to others. His desire is to work in cooperation with a diverse group of leaders who want to make a difference in our society in helping those who are going through difficult times. He also wants to partner with existing effective organizations already in the trenches doing a wonderful work of ministry rather than re-inventing the wheel.

8-9

Since Tim is known for the Bible verses he wears in his eye black during football games, one of his favorite verses is found in the New Testament in Paul’s letter to the Church in Philippi. In Philippians 4:8-9, the Apostle Paul writes, "whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy – meditate on these things... and the God of peace will be with you."

The leadership of the Tim Tebow Foundation aspires on a personal level to live up to these core values and to help fund charities that also embody these important characteristics: truthful, noble, just, pure, lovely, good reports, virtuous and highly praised.

The other words that best describe the Tim Tebow Foundation vision are: to inspire, bring hope, deliver good news, offer a brighter day, help people smile and make a difference.
